Training

We offer training to teachers and administrative staff members working in the Delaware public school system.

We only have one trainer on our staff (John McClenny) and e-mail is the most effective method of communicating with him as he is frequently out of the office.

Courses Offered

  • Microsoft Windows
  • Microsoft Word
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Microsoft FrontPage
  • Microsoft Outlook

Requesting Training

Training can be scheduled for individuals or small groups using the following criteria:

  • Individual sessions can be provided in schools that have 4 - 5 teachers or staff members that would like personalized instruction in one of the courses we offer. Training is normally accomplished during a teachers planning period; however other arrangements can be made to suit the needs of your staff.
  • Small group training sessions ( 5 - 10 people) are normally conducted in the school's computer lab. These sessions require a ninety-minute time period.

Other Information

  • Our courseware is primarily directed at the Windows XP operating system and Office 2003 users; however, it can be adapted for Windows 2000 and Office XP (2002). We are not offering training in Windows Vista or Office 2007 at the present time.
  • School administrators or technology coordinators should call or e-mail John McClenny, (302) 857-3308, for additional information, or to arrange a training session. All training is provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
